February happenings 2012

Well this month seems to be flying by. We didn't do any real traveling this month, we did go to a few cities near here to shop that was fun. Valentines Day and my birthday brought me a wonderful new laptop that I absolutely LOVE (mac book pro). My hubby knows me well:) Yesterday we took the boys to get their hairs cut and they look so handsome, Xander's hair was out of control and Zaan has been begging to get his cut off for a while sooo. Here are the pictures from that:) Also Brad is on his way to Florida for a week for his awards stuff. While he is there he gets to see one of his best friends whom he hasn't seen in about 10 years. He was best man at our wedding and is Zaan's Godfather:) I am super excited for them to get to see each other after all this time! Ok so that is all I have for now! Hugs to all

here are the pics from Christmas we were all very tired as you can tell in the pic of the boys and brad on the couch. We are still waiting for our stuff to get here and I am still looking for a vehicle but otherwise things are going quite well. The boys are settling in and doing well in school. Hope all is well with everyone :)<3 you

Pictures of the house we got in friday. It was rough going at first we had to take a pick axe to the door and hammer it open once we got in we opened up as many windows as we could to let in some air and get the moisture out. There is still a lot of water in the basement but we shall see what happens as time goes on. I was just thrilled that nothing on the second floor was ruined at all.

Happenings and updates:)

So it has been quite awhile since I have updated this blog. The boys and I are currently in Canon City Colorado with my girlfriend and her kids visiting her mom. We flooded in Minot and our house is under water at least halfway up the main floor. All of our stuff is on the second floor and it did not get there that we know of. We are not allowed back in our house till the water has receded to where we can drive on the roads so it will be awhile before we will even get back into our house to access the damage. I am pretty sure it will need to be remodeled though:( Unfortunately we did not have flood insurance but I know that God will provide and we will be ok. The boys school was flooded but I am not sure the damage there they are supposed to start back the 26th of August but am not sure about that either. Will keep you updated as we know more if you are interested in more news about the flooding in Minot you can go to KXnews minot to view it. I am putting up a pic of what our house looked like at the peak of the flood. I think it has gone down a little but have not seen it first hand to know. Hope all is well with you all reading this. The boys are doing good but having a bit of a rough time being misplaced we are hoping to get out and do fun things with them while we are in Colorado so that they have a little fun this summer all of the summer activities and sports I signed them up for have been cancelled:( and they closed all the pools and things so one more reason (besides the boil water order) to get out of dodge for a bit.

We are all safe and doing ok. Brad is coming here for the 4th of July weekend so that will be nice but he is still working hard and in charge of his shop so not a lot of time off.
