So we got back from our mini Christmas trip and Erika called to see if we wanted to go sledding so of course we said Yes!! We went to our favorite sledding hill and had a blast and took tons of pics.:)  So I of course will post them here and try to give names and explanations :)  At one point Erika and I biffed it and went tumbling like a big snowball together down the hill  lol It was awesome.  I am hoping that we can all go sledding again soon :) Specially since we got new snow last night and have a snow day today so three day weekend here we come:) Woohoo!

Christmas Break ......

Hi all! Ok soo we spent a lot of time in the car together traveling. To Elkhart Indiana to spend time with Grandma and Aunt Kari  and then home again. The kids got those new sansa mp3 players they have a walmart for 20 dollars.  Well in retrospect we so should have given the boys those on the way there!! LOL . They were alot calmer on the way back with those suckers. Ne ways the trip went well and we all had a good time.  We received a Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas and got to play some pretty cool games with the boys.  Since we have been home though we haven't had a chance to play. We got home Saturday and then Sunday our friends called and wanted to go sledding so we went and it was sooo much fun.  Brad went back to work on Monday and we have been cleaning and organizing.  I will get the pics of sledding up soon I have to get them from my friend as we used their camera. :) It snowed again last night looks like we have about 2inches of snowfall already and they are calling for up to 6 so thats cool.  I love this place when it snows!! I will have to take some pictures today and then go shovel.  I will leave you with some christmas day photos.  Xander got his ben ten watch hes been wanting and Grandma got a nice ring from Zaan and Kari was smiling pretty for the camera Zaan loved his new shirt and we all had a blast. Of course there were tons of presents to open and too much to tell!  I think Mom got some pics of me but she has them all:) lol Oh well no big loss there!  Even TJ and Coco had some fun:) 

Cub Scouts, Christmas carols at Church and some cute pics.

 Zaan is a cub scout now and this past week before Christmas he earned his bobcat badge!  We are so proud of him!! He had a great time and also earned his first pocket knife for selling popcorn this year.  He sold 132 dollars worth of popcorn!  

We also had some snow and the boys decided to go play even though it was mega cold out! LOL  boys will be boys so they say!  We also go to babysit my friends little one Abby and Zaan is so good with her so I will share some photos with you  of them as well.  

The Sunday school classes  put on a little show for us, and the boys participated in that. It was extremely funny to watch as Xander was having issues ??:) So I think that covers all the pics this post

Thanksgiving Day pics

All the kids from Left to right are Val, Xander, Gabby, Michael and Zaan!  Next is a picture of the guys playing Phase 10,  Lucas, Brad, Smith, and Shawn.  Then there is my ham dog TJ and my girlfriend Erika and her hubby Val.  so there are some pics we had a good day, kinda slow and late to start but a good time!  

Then on Saturday we put up the tree. Those pics will come later as it is late and I have to work tomorrow but since I promise a certain friend that I would post one last time in November I had to keep my word!

New Haircut photos!

Ok so this is Zaan's new haircut.  I went to get my hair cut last week and Xander decided that he wanted to get his cut too.  So we went and got his haircut and they didn't have time for me. Sooo I went back the next night and got my hair cut then next day.  The next morning I walked into the bathroom and found two big chunks of blonde hair on the floor!!! And a wonderful new haircut on Zaan:) It kinda looked bad so I made it a little better by making the hair all the same length which I didn't get pictures of so I am sure he will thank me for that, it was bad:)lol  So the next night Brad and I took Zaan to the hair place and got him an appt for 730 and she fixed it the best she could:)  So the second picture is the little area in front which is just a tad more chopped off then the rest of his nice new haircut!!  They both did excellent while they stylist were cutting their hair so that was nice and here is my new hair cut:) Brad last but not least has had a change and had an unhaircut as he is on leave and doesn't have to cut it :)  But I am not sure how much longer he can stand it:) I will keep you posted as to when he finally can't take it anymore and shaves it all off again:) But for the record here is a picture:)!!

Hope this update finds you all doing well:)  Its off to cub scouts for us tonight and then work tomorrow and off for a four day weekend:) Yippee!
