LASTS...:( :)

So Zaan had his last day of school and I got to go take pictures for the last hour.  He called to ask me to bring the camera and left a nice sweet and polite message on my voicemail.  He wanted a picture of him and his teacher Mrs. Braasch.  Awwww  He had a lot of fun and they ended the day in the gym playing games and the parachute came out too! Then it was off to Xanders last soccer game of the season.  They are the owls so I made Brad an Owl costume so he could be our Mascot and hoot for them on their last game. We all had a blast:) Hope you enjoy the pics and I will be updating again as I have Zaans bridging ceremony for Cub scouts and his joke he told at the talent show yesterday. Swimming

Xanders 1st Soccer practice

 Xander had his first practice last night! Here is video of him passing the ball to a teammate. He insisted that I had to get video:)! Also a couple of pics of his soccer team and coach. They are the Owls! First game Saturday whoohoo

Busy days ahead!!:)

So last week Zaan started swimming lessons and loves them.  I have not gotten pics as we are not allowed in the pool area but I will try to take some thru the glass soon:) Like tonight!! lol

Ne ways Zaans spring pictures came in on friday and they turned out absolutely awesome. Even Brad thought they were great which is saying something:) So I did a little photo shoot for Xander yesterday before church and thought I would share some of those pics with you all. As soon as I get my scanner fixed I will have Zaans up too and we will definitely be doing family pics sometime before Brad deploys if that is the case. We are still waiting on that info.  Grrr.

NE ways Xander starts soccer tonight and is super excited. For the past week and a half, every day he wakes up and asks if today is soccer practice hahaha poor kid:) So today he keeps asking if its time to go pick up Zaan because a couple hours after that he goes to practice and he keeps being all excited that the sun is shining and hopes it stays that way because if it rains he won't have practice. He was upset this morning as it was drizzling out and he thought there wasn't  going to be a practice. I had to tell him there is plenty of time till practice for the weather to get better and not to worry yet:)  So that is what is going on here.  Also I think we will hit the Circus tomorrow after school too:) Tomorrow is mine and Brads ten year anniversary so that is something to celebrate:) Happy day and God Bless you all.

Just wanted to let you know the concert was the 19th and the 20th is when I published the post but I had started to write the post on the 10th and couldn't find the pics I wanted:)

Catching up- Warning this might be a long post:)

So yesterday the boys decided it was an outside day.  Xander got his new bike finally and Zaan helped Dad with the yard work.  Friday night me and the boys went to a Pulse Concert with bands like Vota, December Radio and NewsBoys:) Xander had a blast and Zaan I think will not be a rock man:0 He was miserable and Zaan and I left while Xander stayed with my girlfriend and her troops and got to go back stage and meet the Newsboys and Xander even got a sticker signed by Jody the guitarist:)

He loved every minute of the entire night and I think he is going to be a drummer:) We made easter cookies but they were gone before easter!LOL Easter Day was uneventful.  We skipped Church and I read the Bible stories about good friday and Easter to them instead.  Zaan did not want to get up as you can tell by the picture:) On the 8th of April Zaan choose to celebrate his birthday at school(something they let the kids do to celebrate if their birthdays fall in the summer break.)  Ne Ways so Xander and I got to go spend some time at school with him and celebrate his birthday with a Pirate Birthday cupcake cake. That was fun.  Zaan got to hand the cupcakes out to his classmates and some of the other teachers in the school too. 
Xander has lost his second tooth and he told me today that he has another one loose. He also enjoys taking pictures with my camera and a couple weeks ago he was roaming around the house taking pics so I told him to go on Safari in his cool safari hat (love the dollar store:) and So I stole the camera and took a picture of him:) So TJ was one of the animals he found during his safari:).  K So I think that covers the majority of life right now.:) Hope you enjoyed the post. New Month coming in with a roar no really!!

Hello all thought it was time for an update.  So we had parent-teacher conferences on tuesday and Zaan has improved and has all "A's" in his academic areas.  No N's at all yeah the two quarters before that he had 2 n's .  So yeah for him:)  He also got to compete in a bmx/skateboarding competition and was the youngest one there.  He had a blast and I have quite a few pics of him doing that:)  He is growing soo fast and I am so not ready for him to be in third grade. But I know if I blink he will be starting 6th grade.  Really why do they grow up so fast?? Why!:)  We got to visit the Police Department on Tuesday evening with his cub scout troop so I have a few pics of them to post and will do so.  Also Xander has lost his second tooth now and is growing like a weed, hmm imagine that oh well they are both still too cute thank goodness or they might not have made it this long:) lol  I am excited that my best friend Lorri will be coming home from Iraq soon and we are planning a trip to Cedar Point and also to the Badlands in June.  I am also hoping to head for New York and the surrounding states for much needed visits with family and friends and my brand new Niece Emma Rose Litchfield:) As soon as I get a picture it will be posted!!:) Lets see Xander is so ready to start Kindergarten in the fall and knows all his letters and is practicing his writing skills he also enjoys coloring and singing and going for walks. We can't wait till the snow and ice melts so we can go for some long bike rides and picnics and the water park etc.!! I am hoping my mom will be up to visit this coming weekend fingers crossed and all that jazz.  Alright we are awaiting the verdict about Brads status for deployment and will keep you posted . On that note I will go put the pictures up and get on with the cleaning woohoo!!:)
